A Shirt-only seam tester

This Roblox Shirt template tester fixes the asset type to Classic Shirt and starts with seam inspection enabled. Load a 585×559 local PNG or the first-party calibration texture, choose R6 or R15, rotate and zoom, compare backgrounds, and download a JSON test record.

Fixing the type removes an easy source of misleading results. Pants and T-Shirt files cannot be selected as alternative intents on this page. The selected file remains local and is never published.

Use the calibration texture first

The example fills self-created Shirt UV rectangles with distinct generated colors and one-pixel outlines. It makes torso and arm surfaces easy to distinguish while learning the controls.

It is not official placement artwork and must not be uploaded. Its purpose is to test the viewer itself and create a known visual baseline.

After checking front, back, sides, sleeves, and rig switching with the example, load the actual exported Shirt and repeat the sequence.

Inspect critical Shirt seams

Check shoulders, sleeve-to-arm orientation, underarms, torso sides, and the waist boundary. Continuous bands and checker patterns reveal small offsets. Text and asymmetric graphics reveal mirroring.

Rotate slowly through front, right, back, and left. Use zoom for edge review, then return to a wider view to judge overall balance.

Seam markers outline the simplified cuboids. They are browser styling and are not added to the image. Toggle them off to judge the clean appearance.

R6 and R15 evidence

R6 provides a blockier preview. R15 separates more torso and limb regions. A Shirt can look aligned on one and stretched or discontinuous on the other.

Switch rigs without reloading the texture. Save reports for both when the target audience uses both. Differences should become revision notes, not claims that either approximation is exact.

Alpha and background review

Switch checker, light, and dark backgrounds. Look for opaque boxes, unintended transparency, soft halos, and edge colors blended against the wrong background.

Pay attention to collars, cuffs, logos, text, and thin decorative lines. Partial-alpha artifacts can be subtle at normal zoom and obvious against a contrasting surface.

Export the JSON evidence

The report captures Shirt intent, rig, rotation, zoom, background, seam state, loaded-texture state, timestamp, and scope warning. It contains no pixels or user filename.

Create one report per meaningful review position and pair it with a screenshot when coordinating revisions. The JSON is reproducibility evidence, not a platform approval or moderation prediction.

File checks before visual testing

A seam-focused test protocol

Load the calibration example first and verify that torso and arm faces display different colors. Rotate through front, right, back, and left while seam markers are enabled. This confirms the viewer is responding before conclusions are drawn from a project file.

Load the real Shirt and repeat the same sequence on R6. Record shoulder continuity, sleeve direction, torso side alignment, back orientation, and waist boundary. Switch to R15 without changing the texture and repeat the sequence so segmented arm and torso behavior can be compared.

Next, disable seam markers and judge the clean visual result. Switch between checker, light, and dark backgrounds. Edge halos belong to alpha cleanup; mirrored text belongs to placement correction; invalid dimensions belong to file validation.

Download a report whenever a view reveals a defect. Keep the JSON beside a screenshot and the layered source revision. After editing, restore the same rig, angle, zoom, background, and seam state. A correction should be evaluated under identical conditions rather than a more flattering camera angle.

If a fix improves one arm but breaks the other, return to the source mapping and review both independently. Do not solve a visual problem by repeatedly resizing or flattening the entire canvas.

Limits and publication

The neutral CSS rig cannot represent every avatar proportion, animation, renderer, lighting state, or client. Treat results as a way to find likely seam and orientation errors.

Privacy and rights
