Preview a Shirt without uploading it
This Roblox Shirt preview keeps the clothing type fixed to Classic Shirt. Load a local 585×559 image or use the first-party calibration example, choose R6 or R15, rotate and zoom the neutral rig, change the background, enable seam inspection, and download a JSON record of the current test state.
The image remains in browser memory. The page does not publish clothing, use an account, or send pixels to a server. It is designed for visual preflight before an authorized platform test.
Load a file or calibration example
The upload control accepts a local image and checks the decoded dimensions for Classic Clothing intent. An invalid size displays an error without transmitting the file.
The calibration example fills the self-created Shirt UV regions with distinct colors and outlines. It exists to prove that the preview controls and local mapping are active even when no project file is available. It is not official artwork and should not be uploaded.
Use the example to compare R6 and R15 segmentation, rotation, zoom, and seam markers. Then replace it with the actual Shirt.
Front, back, side, and sleeve review
Start with the front and confirm scale and centering. Rotate to the back and look for reversed text, discontinuous patterns, or missing artwork. Continue to both sides and inspect how bands and gradients meet.
Review both sleeves separately. Asymmetrical symbols can be mirrored or rotated incorrectly. Shoulder and underarm transitions deserve close inspection because a flat atlas can hide their relationship.
Enable seam inspection to make cuboid boundaries easier to see. The markers belong to the browser preview and do not alter the source file.
Compare R6 and R15
R6 uses blockier parts, while R15 introduces more segmented proportions. The same Shirt image can look different around shoulders, arms, torso segments, and animation joints.
Switch rigs without re-uploading. Record whether an issue belongs to the source artwork or appears only under one approximation. The preview is neutral and cannot represent every avatar body, package, animation, or client.

Background and alpha checks
Checker, light, and dark backgrounds expose different alpha problems. White or black halos may be invisible on a matching background and obvious on another.
Transparent pixels reveal the background. Partial alpha creates blending and can soften edges. Compare all three backgrounds, especially around logos, text, collars, sleeve ends, and decorative outlines.

Download a test report
The JSON report records the page preset, clothing type, rig, rotation, zoom, background, seam state, whether a texture is loaded, generation time, and the diagnostic boundary. It does not contain image pixels or the local filename.
Reports are useful for a revision checklist. Save one beside screenshots and the layered source so another reviewer can reproduce the view. A report is not a moderation certificate or upload approval.
Validate the source separately
Visual appearance cannot prove file correctness. Run the Roblox Shirt checker to inspect dimensions, decoding, alpha, and technical evidence. Use the Roblox Shirt template tester when seam-focused testing is the primary intent.
Reopen the actual exported PNG rather than previewing only an editor canvas. Screenshots and JPEG files can hide dimension or transparency mistakes.
Keep a consistent review sequence
Review every revision in the same order: R6 front, right, back, left; then R15 front, right, back, and left. Check once with seam markers and once without them. Compare checker, light, and dark backgrounds before changing the source.
Save a JSON report for any view that reveals a problem and pair it with a screenshot. A consistent sequence makes before-and-after comparisons meaningful and reduces the chance that a correction fixes one surface while breaking another.

This browser rig is an approximation. It cannot reproduce every platform renderer, body scale, pose, lighting condition, or moderation outcome. Perform current authorized platform testing before publication.
