Overview

SkinEditor.org is a local-first website. You can use the public editors and tools without creating an account. This policy explains the limited cookies and browser storage that may be involved when you visit the site.

Necessary storage

The website may use a locale cookie to remember the language you select. This value supports requested site behavior and is not used to store skin artwork.

The theme setting, editor preferences, and anonymous local draft may be stored in your browser. Draft data can contain the pixels you edit, but it remains on the device and is not synchronized to an account or sent to a SkinEditor.org upload API.

Analytics and advertising

SkinEditor.org does not require analytics or advertising cookies for the local editing workflow. When a page opens, the site loads Google Analytics 4 with measurement ID G-5SS9SRGMME. Google Analytics may set first-party analytics cookies such as _ga to distinguish visits. The integration measures page views and navigation; it does not include image pixels, filenames, draft contents, or selected colors.

The integration disables Google Signals and ad-personalization signals, and no advertising platform is currently loaded. Browser settings and content blockers may be used to block or delete analytics cookies and requests.

Third-party content

The current editor does not need third-party embeds to open, edit, or export a supported image. A future link or embedded resource may be operated by another provider and governed by that provider's own cookie and privacy practices.

Managing browser data

Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies and local site data. Blocking storage may prevent the language, theme, analytics session, or local draft from being remembered. Clearing site data can permanently delete an editor draft stored on that device.

We may update this policy when site storage, analytics, advertising, or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
