It is appropriate for jackets, jerseys, long sleeves, uniforms, layered-looking tops, and designs that need a back or side treatment. A Classic T-shirt is only a front graphic, while Classic Pants address the waist and legs.

Prepare a clean working canvas

Do not rename a JPEG to .png; that changes the filename, not the decoded image. Avoid crop-to-content, automatic padding, and repeated resizing. If the dimensions are wrong, return to the layered source and create a fresh target export.
Use a clear filename with the clothing type and revision, such as navy-jacket-shirt-v03.png. The filename helps project organization, but technical tools should inspect decoded pixels rather than trusting the name.
Run a technical Shirt check
